Timber Wharf
Located alongside Regent’s Canal on Kingsland Road, Timber Wharf is a residential development featuring waterfront apartments, balconies and communal walkways.
Working closely with Kier Group PLC and Ryno Ltd, the project involved replacing existing timber decking with Ryno’s BalcaSmart® Aluminium and TerraSmart® Aluminium systems to meet fire safety requirements.
Installed across balconies and walkways, the systems provide a non-combustible, lightweight and durable solution, carefully integrated with stairwells and other structural elements. The completed remediation enhances the building’s appearance while delivering long-term performance, supported by a 30-year warranty and 60-year design life.
